On June 30, 2001, the GOAT Store, LLC and Marty Goldberg teamed together to
bring Atari Jaguar Festival to Milwaukee, and it was considered by many to be
the best Jaguar Festival ever. This year, the GOAT Store, LLC and Marty
Goldberg are getting back together to bring gamers the biggest classic gaming
show of its type in the Midwest -- the Midwest Classic.

The Midwest Classic promises to offer visitors an incredible amount of things
to see and do. From pinball, to video games, to classic computers, the Midwest
Classic is shaping up to be a real classic event!

Pinball

Pinball was born in the Midwest, so it is only appropriate that the event will
feature the classic ball and flipper game.  Not one to settle with just being
able to play pinball at the event, The Goat Store, LLC will be offering the
chance to see how a pinball works from the inside!

The Video Games

One of the features to many classic gaming events is the ability to see, and
play with, many rare systems and items, and the Midwest Classic will be no
exception. Marty Goldberg's Classic Gaming Museum will be vastly expanded
this year featuring everything from PONG to the machines currently on the
market.

"At Atari Jaguar Festival 2001, Marty Goldberg's gaming collection proved to
be one of the biggest attractions," stated Gary Heil of the GOAT Store, LLC.
"This year, the Classic Gaming Museum will be larger and more comprehensive.
We can't wait!"

The Classic Gaming Museum will feature nearly every video game system ever
released in the United States, as well as seldom seen video game promotional
materials fomr the 70's and 80's. The Midwest Classic will also feature many
video game related tournaments which attendees will be encouraged to
participate in during the day for lots of systems like the Atari 2600,
Colecovision, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis and more!

The Computers

As classic computer collectors know, sometimes there is nothing better than
an old computer. The Midwest Classic will feature many classic personal
computers from the first mid 70's microcomputers, to commercial computers
and peripherals by Atari, Commodore, Apple, Tandy and more!

Revisit the ways computers began. Visitors are encouraged to see if they can
remember what their favorite computer games were... and why attendees who
don't still have them need to get their old computers back!

The GOAT Store, LLC and Marty Goldberg promise that there will be a lot more
surprises in store for visitors to the Midwest Classic! Announcements about
exclusive Midwest Classic editions of some homebrew games, special tournament
prizes, and more will be coming in the next few weeks!

PHILLYCLASSIC HOMEBREW GAME RELEASES

PhillyClassic3 is proud to announce the following PhillyClassic game debuts
and/or exclusive show releases from some of the hardest working people in
the game business - classic gaming developers!

Daniel Bienvenu will release his new ColecoVision game, Bejeweled. Details

Brian Prescott will be debuting Vault Assault Tournament Edition and

PhillyClassic is now deep into the planning stages. Here's the rundown:

* The dates, time and location are all set. PhillyClassic will happen April
26th and 27th, 2002 at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Valley Forge,
PA. 15,000 square feet of gaming goodness! Doors open at 5:00 p.m. on Friday
to the public and close around 10:30! :) Saturday morning we let the
ticketholders in bright and early at 9:00 a.m. and play, play all day!! More
scheduling to come soon at

* Tickets and tables are now on sale and are going fast!! All payments can
be made through PayPal to Phillyclass@yahoo.com, or visit the website for
info on where to send checks and money orders. Tickets are $10.00
pre-ordered and $15.00 at the door.

Tables are priced at:

UNPOWERED TABLES:
1st table - $20
2nd table - $30
3rd and subsequent tables - $40

TABLES WITH POWER:
1st table - $30
2nd table - $40
3rd and subsequent tables - $50

VENDOR/CORPORATE TABLES:
$100 Unpowered/$150 with power

The reason the tables are priced differently this year for powered vs.
unpowered is because this year we are being charged by the convention center
for electrical needs.

The other difference in table pricing (the $20/$30/$40 progressive setup)
will allow for the most possible people to get a single table and to put a
fair price on tablespace for people who plan to move a LOT of goods.

* We also have Corporate space available and are talking to a few big
companies about attending and getting out to the gamers like you directly!

* Tournament scheduling is almost complete. The console tournaments are as

Our arcade tournaments will be announced shortly but it looks like we may
actually be able to do a WHOPPING 7-8 tournaments instead of just 2 for

* We have given over 1/4 of our total space for - get ready - upright arcade
games ON FREE PLAY!!! Wow!!  If that arcade at your local mall is as
disappointing to you as it is to us then make it a point to at least come
down for this part of the show! You won't regret it!

you! Many of us will be featuring Playstation2, X-Box and Gamecube along
side our beloved Atari, Intellivision and ColecoVision systems!

  I have it in Mac format (floppy!). I really cannot recommend it. It would
make an excellent web site (and in fact it is in HTML format, which makes
the choice of delivery platform all the more odd) but I simply can't say
that it's worth $25US. Some of the interviews are definitely interesting,
but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. The articles are about 5 HTML
pages each, so if this was in print it might fill 25-50 pages at the most. I
doubt you would pay $25 for such a book.
