Hi,
You are all invited to design a logo for the Atari Preservation Project. The best logo will be choosen by the members of the APP egroup at yahoo and visitors of the German ABBUC Atari 8-bit meeting (JHV 2002).
The winner gets a T-shirt with the Atari logo on it! :-)
The deadline of this competition is 15 october 2002. After that, the voting starts. The last votes are collected on the ABBUC JHV.
More info about the project can be found here:
Please take a look at the 'Project' and 'Software' sections. Note that the web-pages need more work, but the basic info is there.
Please send your logos to me. Good luck!
Freddy.

Are there any guidlines we have to follow for design? Such as file format, color scheme, picture size, etc...
Thanks!

Eh, good question. Let's say 200 x 200 pixels max. 256 colors. Right now I've used purple for the APP pages, but that can change if the logo is choosen. I'm not an expert on this, so maybe you have better suggestions?
Freddy.

Not really, you just have to consider what all possible uses for the logo you would have.

Hi!
I'm using mac/65 file version in combination with SpartaDos 3.3a. Ever when I'm programming, and I'm having a large listing (but I have still ca. 12kb free ) I'm getting errors with the branches and the labels when I'm assembling the program.
Why? And how can I fix this.
I'm not sure the cartridge version has the same problems.
Greetz, M.

What errors? Are you trying to branch to a location that is too far away?

No! That was my first thought too, when the errors occured. The assembler gives two errors in my case: the one you mention, and a undifend label error.
Both errors don't make sense. What happens when I make the label-names shorter (to save space); the errors disappear. My conclusion is: when I use to many labels or to long labelnames there are strange things happening during the assembling.
Pffff.... I can say it very well in English. Sorry for that. I hope you understand my problem, and my thoughts...
Thanks, Marius

Hi,
I think you reached the limit of the diskversion. Strange things will happen when working with large code...
The cartridge can hold over 30Kb and can do just fine, but the cartridge has a problem with some memory area's I think because of the DDT and so... For editing and assembling the cartridge run's great....

Yes, but I think the reason of that is using Mac/65 in combination with spartados. Originally this diskversion was saved on a CLI-version of dos 2.5 (or something like that, I've forgotten the name/version of that dos).
I know that MAC/65 and Turbo-Dos has the same problems as I have now, so perhaps Mac/65 should NOT be used with SpartaDos 3.3?
It is strange because after assembling Mac/65 tells me: 13673 byes FREE!
Thanks, Marius
p.s. everything fine with you? Long time no contact, but I'm BACK! Greetz to Fox-1 too! "TXG" <t@the-underground.myweb.nl> schreef in bericht ...
